We utilise a flexible workforce for a variety of staff groups across many settings and specialties. This enables us to ensure we have good teamwork, safe staffing levels and continuity of care for our patients.

Derby Health Staffing (DHS - a wholly owned subsidiary of UHDB) provides temporary clinical bank staffing services across all University Hospitals of Derby and Burton sites.

DHS provide a temporary clinical bank staffing service where staff can select flexible working options and receive weekly payments. Working additional hours via the bank contributes directly to providing safe staffing levels and continuity of care for patients whilst reducing the reliance on the use of agency staff.
