Overclockers UK is famous throughout the enthusiast PC community for its expertise in performance hardware, overclocking and modding. Through our innovative approach, we are a leading online provider of gaming PCs, components and peripherals. Overclockers UK is part of the Pro Gamers Group, an international e-commerce company with more than 700 employees at 12 locations worldwide.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with PC hardware knowledge to assemble computers at our HQ in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. We have full-time fixed-term contracts available.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling computers with varying complexities in accordance with customer requirements and OCUK quality standards
  • Conduct thorough testing of each PC build to ensure functionality, stability and performance
  • Install and configure operating systems, drivers and software applications as per customer requirements
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues that may arise during the build or testing process
  • Observe health and safety procedures at all times whilst maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Assist with inventory management for the ordering of hardware components when needed

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 08.30am to 17.30pm

Requirements

  • Previous experience in PC building is essential
  • Attention to detail with assembly and cable management
  • Strong knowledge of the latest hardware and how to configure it
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Focussed, can do attitude
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE (or equivalent) including English Language at grade C or above
  • IT Qualifications would be advantageous to your application but are not essential
