Part Time (36 hours) – to be worked 3 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday as per the rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
GP Care Services Ltd is a forward thinking, passionate and innovative local organisation based in Rochdale delivering high-quality Health, Social and Community Care. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our residential dementia facility based in Rochdale.
Job Role
As a key member of the care team, you will work closely with the Residential Manager and Senior Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements, relevant care standards, and organisational policies and procedures. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the unit, including taking responsibility for the facility in the absence of the Residential Manager and Senior Team Leader. You will also help create a safe, caring and supportive environment where residents are encouraged and enabled to maximise their skills and abilities and retain their independence for as long as possible.

Essential Requirements
- Substantial experience of those living with dementia and challenging behaviour
- NVQ level 2/3 in Care
- The ability to manage your own time and prioritise workloads
- To communicate effectively both face to face and in writing
- Knowledge of administering medications
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in staff management
- Team leader qualification
