Temporary Works Administrator
Location
Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours
42.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Security Clearance
BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.

About KierBAM
KierBAM are a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Temporary Works Administrator.
About the Role
Joining the design and engineering team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our growing team of Temporary Works Coordinators delivering all aspects of Temporary Works on one of the major projects ongoing in the dockyard.
Responsibilities
As a Temporary Works Administrator, you'll be working within the design and engineering team, supporting them in delivering all aspects of Temporary Works on this major dockyard project. Your day-to-day will include:
- Administration of the project Temporary Works Register and updating the schedule of designs progressing through the system
- Assembly and submission of Design Packs to the Client for approval via CDE (CEMAR)
- Filing of approved Temporary Works Designs and Permits on the Project CDE (ProjectWise)
- Administration of the project Permit to Load / Dismantle Register
- Filing of Scaffolding Handover and weekly inspection documentation from sub-contractors

Requirements
This role of Temporary Works Administrator is great for you if:
- You're punctual with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and deliver against key tasks in a busy multi-disciplinary work environment
- You're a proactive team worker with excellent organisational skills, diligence, and attention to detail
- You have experience of working in a busy office environment and can work to tight deadlines whilst delivering quality documentation
- You possess effective record keeping skills and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- You're fully proficient working with key software packages such as Excel, Word, and PDF-XChange Editor, with familiarisation of ProjectWise, CEMAR, and CAD applications
