Summary

Keltbray is recruiting an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to support the delivery of the Skye Reinforcement Project, a major transmission infrastructure scheme connecting Skye to mainland Scotland.

Working alongside Balfour Beatty on behalf of SSEN Transmission, this role will support the safe delivery of earthworks, enabling works, access infrastructure and associated civil engineering activities across a challenging and high-profile project environment.

This position is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in major civils, highways, utilities, earthworks or large-scale infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and coordinating temporary works activities across the project
  • Maintaining compliance with BS 5975 and project temporary works procedures
  • Reviewing temporary works designs and coordinating implementation with site teams
  • Managing the temporary works register and associated approvals process
  • Liaising with engineers, designers, subcontractors and project management teams
  • Supporting safe delivery across multiple work fronts and challenging site conditions

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on major civils or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures
  • Experience within highways, utilities, earthworks or heavy civil engineering environments
  • Temporary Works Coordinator qualification
  • Strong communication and planning skills
  • Full UK driving licence
