Temporary Works Design Engineer
Granite is working with a key customer to source a Temporary Works Design Engineer as part of a new team, on a contract basis.
The role will provide detailed engineering design and checking support for temporary works across civil and structural projects covering the full lifecycle: design, review, installation oversight, and dismantling.
The Engineer will be working on T&D projects in the majority. Alongside some smaller, more general civils projects. AutoCAD is currently used.

Required:
- Degree (BEng/MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent HNC/HND with experience.
- Proven experience in temporary works design within a consultancy, contractor, or design team.
- Strong working knowledge of BS 5975, CDM Regulations, and relevant design codes.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD, Robot, SAP2000, TEDDS)
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and site conditions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Please note that Power/Energy experience is not a pre-requisite.

This role is ideally to be based in the Highlands, though a Central Belt location may be considered.
