VACANCY HIS3455

TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR

SIZEWELL, LEISTON

CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT
SALARY: COMPETITIVE
CLOSING DATE: 14TH OCTOBER 2026

The Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) is responsible for the coordination, control, and assurance of all temporary works activities associated with the delivery of the Foul Treatment Plant (FTP), Potable Water Plant (PWP), and associated infrastructure works at Sizewell C.

The role ensures that temporary works are properly designed, reviewed, approved, installed, inspected, maintained, and dismantled in accordance with BS 5975, project procedures, client requirements, and nuclear governance standards. The Temporary Works Coordinator acts as the focal point for temporary works management and provides assurance that all temporary works are implemented safely and effectively.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:

  • Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities across the project in accordance with BS 5975 and project procedures.
  • Maintain the Temporary Works Register and ensure appropriate categorisation, control, and lifecycle management of all temporary works.
  • Coordinate temporary works design briefs, reviews, approvals, independent checks, and design changes.
  • Ensure temporary works are implemented in line with approved designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Manage inspections, permits, audits, and assurance activities, maintaining accurate compliance records.
  • Provide guidance and support to construction teams, including planning, risk assessments, sequencing, and interface management.
  • Monitor compliance, identify and escalate risks or non-conformances, and support project governance and reporting.
  • Provide assurance to project management on temporary works performance, safety, and compliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
