Tenancy Support Officer
We are recruiting a Tenancy Support Officer to join a well-renowned housing association from early December!
- Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
- Home-based with regular site visits to tenants across the local area.
- A car owner with a full driving licence and business insurance is required.
- Basic DBS required.
- 9-month+ contract.
- Interviews take place in early November with a December start.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing and tenancy management service, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies.
The role will involve managing:
- Rent arrears
- Anti-social behaviour cases
- Safeguarding concerns
- Tenancy breaches
- Complaints
- Complex neighbourhood issues

You will work closely with local authorities, support agencies, and safeguarding teams while managing lettings, voids, and tenancy sign-ups.
This is a varied role requiring strong case management skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting vulnerable residents.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Tenancy Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, or similar role.
You will have a strong understanding of tenancy management, rent arrears, welfare benefits, and safeguarding, along with experience handling complex and sensitive cases.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
