Job Title: Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Do you have a strong understanding of welfare benefits and a passion for helping people sustain their tenancies? Join us as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer and play a key role in supporting customers to maintain their tenancies through practical advice, welfare benefits support and effective case management.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll manage your own caseload and work directly with customers to help them overcome financial and tenancy-related challenges. You'll provide advice on welfare benefits, budgeting and money management, carry out affordability assessments and work with local authorities, charities and other partner organisations to help prevent homelessness and support long-term tenancy sustainment.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and able to work independently while building strong relationships with customers from a wide range of backgrounds. A good understanding of the welfare benefits system is essential, along with the confidence to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload and work directly with customers.
  • Provide advice on welfare benefits, budgeting, and money management.
  • Carry out affordability assessments.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, charities, and other partner organisations.
  • Help prevent homelessness and support long-term tenancy sustainment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
