Tenancy Sustainment Officer
As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you'll provide vital support to vulnerable residents, helping them sustain their tenancies and live safely and independently in their homes.
Working within our Resident Experience team, you'll support residents facing a range of complex challenges, including safeguarding concerns and domestic abuse. You'll assess needs, coordinate support, and work closely with local authorities, statutory services, and partner agencies to ensure residents receive the right help at the right time. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships, coordinate multi-agency interventions, and proactively address issues before they escalate. If you're passionate about supporting vulnerable people, delivering excellent customer service, and achieving positive outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing structured support to our most vulnerable residents enabling them to sustain their tenancy and develop effective methods to achieve their identified support targets.
- Carrying out a risk assessment with each resident, highlighting any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others.
- Completing an action plan with each resident, detailing all elements of support required to sustain their tenancy. This will include making referrals to external agencies and signposting. You’ll regularly review action plans through to case closure.
- Visiting residents in their home, complete welfare checks, make safeguarding referrals, monitor and update cases, working in partnership with multi-agency partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
