3 Months Contract with a Local Authority

Umbrella - £17.22 per hour - Umbrella

Job Purpose

As a Tenant Liaison Officer / Maintenance Operative, you will provide front-of-house, facilities, tenant support, and administrative services across Corby Innovation Hub and Corby Enterprise Centre. You will be the main point of contact for visitors and tenants, supporting the day-to-day operation of the buildings and ensuring a professional customer experience.

Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Meet and greet visitors and tenants.
  • Manage reception and front desk activities.
  • Answer telephone calls and general enquiries.
  • Assist visitors and direct them to appropriate areas.
  • Coordinate meeting room and catering bookings.
  • Liaise with tenants, council staff, contractors, and external organisations.
  • Conduct property and business centre viewings.
  • Complete inductions for new tenants.
  • Organise keys, fobs, and access arrangements.
  • Verify identification and complete reference checks.
  • Liaise with IT providers regarding tenant setups.
  • Carry out general administration tasks.
  • Input and maintain records on internal systems.
  • Process post, photocopying, and office documentation.
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
  • Support maintenance and facilities activities.
  • Assist with opening and closing the buildings.
  • Operate alarm systems and building security procedures.
  • Provide general support across both business centre locations.

Essential Experience Required

  • Previous Reception, Facilities, Customer Service, Administration, Concierge, or Tenant Liaison experience.
  • Experience dealing with visitors and customers.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Working Hours: 20 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday.
  • Location:

    • Corby Enterprise Centre (NN17 5EU)
  • Reason for Hire: Additional Workload.
  • Potential for extension.
  • Immediate start preferred.
  • Supplier Submission Deadline: 12th October 2026.
