At DSV we're building the world’s leading logistics and transport network. With this exciting growth comes opportunity — and we’re looking for new talent to join us.
Role: Tender Manager
Location: Midlands (flexible, will involve regular travel)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week
DSV Contract Logistics is looking for a Tender Manager to join their successful team. The successful candidate will take ownership of strategic bid opportunities from qualification through to contract award. Working closely with Business Development, Solution Design and Operations, you will develop winning strategies, compelling value propositions and customer-focused proposals that differentiate DSV in a competitive market. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded bid professional with a proven track record of winning complex opportunities, developing teams and driving bid excellence through best-practice methodologies, including APMP principles.
Join one of the world's leading logistics providers and play a key role in shaping DSV's future growth.
What will you be doing?
- Apply and promote APMP best practice methodologies across the bid and tender lifecycle, ensuring a structured, compliant and customer-focused approach to opportunity qualification, bid strategy development, proposal management and continuous improvement.
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end tender process, from opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid decision making through to submission of compelling, customer-focused proposals that clearly articulate DSV's value proposition.
- Develop bid strategies, win themes and differentiators that align customer requirements with DSV's capabilities, ensuring proposals are positioned for maximum competitive advantage.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Solution Design, Operations, Projects, Legal and Finance, to develop cohesive, customer-centric solutions and consistent bid messaging.
- Create and oversee the development of high-quality proposal content, applying storytelling techniques and persuasive writing principles to communicate customer value, operational excellence and innovation effectively.
- Formulate effective bid plans, governance and review processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements while incorporating APMP best practice methodologies across the bid lifecycle.
- Challenge and refine solution design, operational models, technology propositions and commercial assumptions to develop winning, commercially robust responses that meet customer needs and DSV objectives.
- Building relationships with new clients and gauging their needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
