We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Tender Specialist to support the preparation and delivery of project tender packages for International projects.

Working closely with the Projects Bid Manager, you will help manage the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission, working with manufacturers, customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and professional commercial and technical responses.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, has excellent attention to detail and can build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing enquiry tender packages for international projects.
  • Obtaining commercial and technical offers from manufacturers.
  • Preparing commercial and technical tender packages for projects.
  • Responding to commercial and technical clarifications.
  • Attending client clarification calls as required.
  • Reviewing purchase orders for accuracy before passing to operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality business systems and departmental procedures.
  • Ensuring all sales transactions are managed efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintaining accurate records and project files.
  • Supporting additional tasks and projects as required.

What we are looking for:

  • A highly organised and self-motivated individual.
  • An understanding of electrical bulk materials and supply chain; ongoing training will be provided.
  • Experience in administration, tenders, proposals or a similar commercial environment.
  • The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional presentation.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
