Role Description This on-site role is based in Swansea and requires an accredited Level 2 Tennis Coach or above. The coach will plan and deliver structured tennis sessions for individuals and groups, including juniors, adults, and players of varying skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assessing player abilities
  • Designing progressive training programs
  • Providing technical and tactical instruction
  • Offering constructive feedback to support our Head of development and Operations Team

The role also involves maintaining high standards of player safety and welfare, communicating clearly with players and families, and delivering excellent customer service on and off the court. The coach is expected to:

  • Liaise with the wider coaching team
  • Support events and clinics
  • Contribute to promoting Tennis365’s programmes within the local community

Qualifications

  • Strong Tennis Instruction and Tennis skills, with accreditation as a Level 2 Coach or above from a recognized governing body.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to explain techniques and provide feedback to diverse age groups.
  • Customer Service skills to ensure positive experiences for players and families and to represent Tennis365 professionally.
  • Training skills, including session planning, progression tracking, and the ability to adapt coaching methods to different learning styles.

Experience coaching in club or academy environments, the ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are highly desirable.
