Performance Tennis Coach
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Performance Tennis Coach to support the continued development of tennis at Clifton College. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality one-to-one coaching sessions for pupils aged 4-18, helping players of all abilities reach their full potential both on and off the court. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will work closely with pupils, parents and the Head of Tennis to support individual development.
Duties
- Delivering structured, engaging and challenging one-to-one coaching sessions
- Supporting the development of players of all ages and abilities
- Providing regular feedback to pupils, parents and guardians on progress
- Analysing performance and implementing development plans
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with the Head of Tennis to support the tennis programme
- Demonstrating progression and measurable improvement for individual players
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Promoting high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct at all times
- Delivering coaching sessions before school, during lunchtimes and after school as required
- The ability to hit with our top performance pupils
Ideal Candidate
- LTA Level 2 qualification
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
- Experience of playing or coaching tennis at county level or above would be advantageous
