Position Description
This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; work is performed at the customer site. As a SIGINT Systems Engineer on our team, you will support a customer terrestrial sensors team in tracking, monitoring, and facilitating planning for the deployment, upgrade, and replacement of Terrestrial SIGINT collection and processing systems.
You Will
- Capture and document the requirements for the new and updated systems as well as coordinate and track the sensor projects from requirements, analysis of alternatives, sensor buildout, deployment, installation, testing, and transition to operations.
- Participate in numerous meetings, working groups, integrated product teams, product reviews, and status meetings to monitor the systems engineering plans, development, and deployment of space and ground processing systems.
- Work closely with government Systems Engineers to support the re-engineering of the existing SIGINT ground architecture to facilitate the elimination of collection/processing stovepipes and replace the deprecated systems with collections/processing systems that support automation, dynamic tasking, multi-access cross-cueing, and orchestration.
- Produce system engineering and technical documentation, develop master schedules, and support validation and verification activities.
- Serve as liaison to critical personnel in monitoring the state of project development milestones.

Required Skills/Education
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline and At least 15 years of systems engineering experience.
- A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. may be substituted for two years of experience.
- Some knowledge/experience with the SIGINT collection and ground processing architecture and associated systems.
Desired Skills
- The ideal candidate would be SIGINT Systems Subject Matter Expert. They should be familiar with the end-to-end system, including tasking, collection management, collection operations, processing, and dissemination components and processes.
- They must be able to support re-engineering efforts that focus on automation, multi-access cross-cueing, collaboration, and dynamic collection/processing orchestration.
- A familiarity with Overhead SIGINT systems collection management and architecture is useful, especially where they might employ best practices that may be suitable for adoption within the Terrestrial collection systems architecture.
