Area Account Manager - Transfusion

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience to join a global organisation who manufacture and supply specialised blood transfusion analysing equipment across the globe to private and public sector laboratories. The successful applicant will be working with some amazing equipment that is helping improve and save lives every day.

The Roles

• Covering the Southwest of England and South Wales, taking over an existing territory that has been looked after very well, but comes with the potential for growth.
• The role is a technical sales position, and you will need a strong product knowledge and to become a true subject matter expert.
• Working with blood transfusion analysing equipment, selling into Private and NHS Transplant Labs across the territory.
• You will manage the existing customers across the territory, but will seek out new business opportunities through various methods.
• In the role, you will provide pre and post sales training, completing customer demos, and providing implementation training when required.
• You will ensure customer satisfaction and retention through continuing education and optimisation of equipment utilisation by customer in your area.
• As part of the role, you will provide technical assistance and investigate any corrective maintenance needs.
• You will monitor and manage customer service and field service interactions and always ensure the best service to your customer base.
• As part of the role, you’ll oversee new equipment installations, liaising with the customer and your engineering team to ensure a smooth customer interaction.
• You will oversee then commissioning and handover to customers, and ensure that all training requirements are completed, as agreed within SLA.
• Full initial training will be provided, with an outgoing career development plan.
