Job Description: Territory Business Manager AWC

About the Role
The primary function of the Territory Business Manager AWC is to grow territory sales for advanced wound care through:
- Consultation with clinical and relevant commercial customers
- Training and education to support product use
- Pulling through of formularies and pathways
Territory: South West London, Surrey, Sussex
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overachievement of sales targets across the territory
- Engage with key clinical prescribing stakeholders including:
- TVNs (Trusted Virtual Nurses)
- Podiatrists
- DNs (District Nurses)
- Specialist Nurses
- ANPs (Advanced Nurse Practitioners)
- Initiate and drive product evaluations in hospitals and the community via liaison with decision-makers
- Secure product awards following ICB and Provider formulary inclusion
- Increase clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical guidelines
- Pull through business post-formulary inclusion
- Provide in-depth clinical and product knowledge within key indication areas
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize opportunity pipelines
- Protect existing business via collaborative engagement with stakeholders
- Ensure correct and competent use of Convatec brands through HCP (Healthcare Professional) training
- Conduct audits to gather prevalence data
- Plan and implement local studies and educational activities to build awareness and sales opportunities
- Meet metrics and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) standards
- Adhere to company compliance policies
- Utilize CRM systems effectively, including:
- Daily call recordings
- Alignment with company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven selling experience within the medical industry, targeting primary and/or secondary care
- Mandatory: Previous wound care experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with all key Convatec UKI Advanced Wound Care team functions
- Education: Degree level preferred, ideally with a:
- Biomedical sciences background or
- Nursing experience
- Consideration: Recent graduates with a biomedical sciences degree
- Tenacity, motivation, and goal orientation
- Strong communication skills with influence over key decision-makers
- Understanding of NHS structure
- Demonstrated ability to exceed targets
- Strong presentation and IT skills
- Knowledge of:
- NHS strategies, structure, and terminology
- Working with specialist and culturally diverse individuals
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- CRM systems

- On the field: 5 days a week, 90% customer-facing
- Travel: Occasional, as required by business needs
- Overnight stays: Minimal
