Veni Vidi Medical is a UK-based specialist distributor of ophthalmic surgical products, serving NHS trusts, private hospitals, eye clinics, and optometry practices nationwide. Its portfolio covers oculoplastics, corneal, vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina, and includes exclusive UK distribution partnerships with FCI S.A.S. of France and Iromed, as well as UK distribution for KAI. Founded in 2006 and led by a second generation of family leadership since 2019, the company combines deep ophthalmology expertise with responsive, personalized service. Veni Vidi Medical is ISO 9001 certified and registered with NHS Supply Chain, providing applicants with the opportunity to work in a trusted, quality-focused environment.

Veni Vidi is looking to recruit several positions across the UK.

Role Description

The Territory Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for developing and managing sales across a defined geographic area within the UK ophthalmology market. Day-to-day activities include:

The role involves:

  • Planning and executing territory sales strategies
  • Organizing visits and virtual meetings
  • Providing product education and training
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and service needs

The Territory Manager will collaborate with internal teams on pricing, contracts, inventory, and marketing initiatives, while accurately forecasting sales, maintaining CRM records, and reporting on territory performance. Occasional travel to customer sites, industry events, and company meetings is expected.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in territory or field sales, ideally within medical devices, ophthalmology, or healthcare.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to engage clinicians, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing sales strategies, including territory planning, pipeline management, and CRM usage.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical product information clearly and professionally.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely, managing schedules, travel, and customer follow-up independently.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, monitor market trends, and identify new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region and occasionally across the UK for meetings, training, and events.
  • Knowledge of UK healthcare systems, NHS procurement processes, or ophthalmology markets is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
