Fujifilm Healthcare in Europe

Fujifilm Healthcare is focused on becoming a company that can reinforce the advancement of human health through its offering of products and technologies, supporting the transformation taking place in the healthcare sector. Fujifilm Healthcare’s role in Europe involves a commitment to creating new clinical value and improving the medical environment by bringing the latest innovations to healthcare providers, so that they can deliver faster, more accurate diagnosis and treatment to their patients.

General description of the role

The purpose of this role is to effectively increase sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year on year, whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share. The primary focus for this territory is to grow our ETD market share within an expanding portfolio, and we are seeking the right candidate to continue and accelerate this growth.

The endotherapeutic devices portfolio comprises Resection, Haemostasis, Foreign Body Management and ERCP as well as endoscopic accessories. It is critical in this role that the Territory Manager acts with integrity and ethics at all times, taking every opportunity to promote the organisation and its values and to increase its standing within the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of Fujifilm Healthcare’s Endo-Solutions strategic vision and achieve Company sales, profit margins and product targets for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the businesses within which they work, including product range, technical specifications, prices, features, benefits, clinical applications and sales strategies.
  • Present products and services to clinicians, theatre / department managers and nursing staff, and educate customers (and team members) in the practical features, benefits, handling of product, new technologies and the techniques employed in using the equipment.
  • Develop territory plans to achieve targets across both sales and promotional activities, and maintain a Business Plan to maximise the territory’s sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and report daily sales activity reports, account records, expenses and other administration as required by the company and the line manager.
  • Review the territory’s performance with the line manager on a regular basis and write any required monthly reports.
  • Scan for and report on competitor activity within the territory.
  • Promote and, where required, support study days, exhibitions and workshops on territory and throughout the UK.
  • Maintain and continue to develop the necessary skills and product knowledge through ongoing self-development, augmenting company-provided training and ensuring all company-sponsored training is implemented.
  • Communicate regularly with the Field Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager and Product Managers, and attend planned conference calls and sales meetings.
  • Assist with all marketing, research and product launches when necessary.
  • Undertake overseas travel for international congresses, product training and supplier meetings, which is essential and often takes place at weekends.
  • Understand the financial operations, purchasing and funding practices of each client group, i.e. the NHS, and influence, develop and negotiate with all financial representatives and other stakeholders to close a sale effectively and within profit margins / targets.
  • Make effective use of up-to-date product literature and presentations with all relevant and influential stakeholders across NHS and private hospital personnel, communicating agreed sales strategies in line with agreed objectives.
  • Follow Fujifilm policies, rules and procedures at all times.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
