Role Description
The Territory Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing and optimizing field marketing activities across a defined geographic area. Day-to-day, the Territory Manager coordinates store visits, ensures merchandising standards are met, and monitors product availability and promotional execution in grocery and independent retail stores. This role involves building strong relationships with store personnel and brand stakeholders, gathering market insights, and reporting on performance metrics to support client objectives. The Territory Manager plans and prioritizes territory coverage, provides guidance to field representatives where applicable, and collaborates with internal teams to implement campaigns and resolve operational issues. Regular use of digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication is required to maintain efficient territory management and high-quality service delivery.

- Experience in field marketing, retail account management, or territory sales within FMCG or related sectors.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills for working with store teams, clients, and internal colleagues.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and reporting systems for planning routes, capturing store data, and analyzing performance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple stores, priorities, and deadlines across a territory.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commercial awareness to identify opportunities, address in-store issues, and support sales growth.
- Comfort working remotely with a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and adaptability to changing market conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle for store visits, where required.
- Prior experience in UK grocery or independent retail environments and knowledge of FMCG merchandising best practices is advantageous.
- Education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory where equivalent experience is demonstrated.
