About the Programme
Starter Date: October 1st, 2026
You’ll receive a structured development experience, blending theory and practical learning, including:
- Classroom and virtual learning
- On-the-job training and job shadowing
- Coaching from experienced colleagues
- Hands-on customer experience, where you’ll:
- Gain exposure to customer operations
- Learn to diagnose challenges
- Develop practical solutions for safety, hygiene, and sustainability
About the Division
Within Institutional & Specialty, we provide comprehensive chemical products and solutions tailored to the needs of customers across:
- Foodservice and hospitality
- Laundry
- Long-term care
- Education
- Corporate and government facilities
What You Will Do
After training, you’ll progress to territory ownership, becoming the trusted Ecolab partner to your customers. Your role will focus on:

- Advising customers on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes
- Delivering positive guest experiences
- Ensuring cleaner, safer, and healthier environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with existing customers through regular service visits
- Learn customers’ ware-washing & laundry systems
- Hands-on work with equipment, including installation, maintenance, and safe use
- Ensure facilities are fully operational and teams are properly trained
- Grow your territory by identifying new opportunities
- Provide customers with training, regular and emergency service, and sales demonstrations
- Coordinate sales and service activities with:
- Cross-divisional peers
- Internal teams (e.g., Marketing Services, Customer Service)
- Expand your customer base by reaching out to potential accounts
- Strengthen Ecolab’s brand in your market
What You’ll Need
We welcome a diverse range of candidates. You could be a great fit if you have:
✅ Completed vocational training or equivalent education ✅ Experience in customer-facing, sales, service, or hospitality environments
- Preference for business-to-business (B2B) commercial sales experience ✅ Basic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills ✅ A growth mindset
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to develop ✅ Demonstrated problem-solving and creative-thinking skills ✅ Ability to adapt to new challenges and situations ✅ Interest in advancing your career in sales and service roles ✅ Basic IT skills (CRM experience is a plus) ✅ Valid driver’s license + acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Open to traveling within your district and nationwide (company vehicle provided)
