Territory Manager in Training Programme

It’s designed to prepare you for future leadership as a Territory Manager, starting with structured training over 12 months (commencing October 1st, 2026).

From your first day, you’ll engage with customer operations, refine problem-solving skills, and develop tailored solutions that enhance safety, hygiene, and sustainability.
About the Division
Within the Water division (Nalco Water, an Ecolab company), we deliver:
- Water treatment solutions
- Process and digital water management
- End-to-end support for customers in industrial, manufacturing, food & beverage processing, energy, mining, data centers, and more
Our goal is to help customers optimise operations, protect critical assets, and drive sustainability across their entire water lifecycle—from intake to reuse and discharge.

Key Responsibilities
After completing the 12-month training, you will:
- Own a customer territory, building trusted relationships and serving as a technical business partner
- Deliver consultative support in areas including:
- Water treatment
- Process optimisation
- Digital water management solutions
- Promote safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for customers through ** specialised expertise**
Duties Include:
- Maintain regular service visits to strengthen customer relationships
- Diagnose operational system challenges by gaining hands-on experience (equipment, technologies, and solutions)
- Support installation, maintenance, and safe use of Ecolab’s technical systems
- Ensure customer readiness by training and mentoring their teams
- Identify improvement opportunities and demonstrate product efficacy
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Services, and Customer Care teams to drive seamless customer experiences
- Engage in brand outreach and market penetration activities to support Ecolab’s growth
Requirements: What You Bring
We value diverse backgrounds and a growth mindset. This role is ideal for you if you:
- Have technical/science education (preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry)
- Are ambitious about entering sales, service, or technical roles
- Display a strong problem-solving ethos and enjoy creative thinking
- Embrace flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Are IT literate (familiar with Microsoft Office)
- Hold a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, and are willing to travel (occasionally nationwide)
- Commit to learning and accepting constructive feedback
