Job Title: Territory Manager
Location: Northern Ireland & South West Scotland (remote, with frequent travel)
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced animal health professional with a strong understanding of the large animal sector and a genuine commercial drive? We’re seeking a Territory Manager to manage and grow an established territory covering Northern Ireland and South West Scotland, with responsibility for driving sales and supporting customers across the company’s ruminant and equine product portfolio. This is a broad and autonomous field-based position, combining commercial sales, technical support, customer education and business development. You’ll develop strong relationships with veterinary practices, vets, farmers and key industry contacts, positioning yourself as a trusted technical resource while identifying opportunities to grow the business. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your approach to the territory, making the most of your local market knowledge and commercial expertise, while benefiting from the support of an experienced and professional wider team.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales throughout the territory by identifying, pursuing and converting new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with veterinary practices, vets, farmers and influential industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company’s ruminant and equine product ranges, providing customers with appropriate technical advice and support.
- Plan and deliver CPD events, veterinary training, farmer presentations and practical on-farm training.
- Create and implement an annual territory business plan, covering customer objectives, call planning and sales activity.
- Keep up to date with market developments, competitor activity and customer trends, sharing relevant market intelligence with the wider business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activity and territory information using Salesforce.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support and deliver marketing activity.
- Bring ideas and market insight to sales, marketing and product development initiatives.
- Ensure all customer and commercial activity complies with relevant regulatory, pharmacovigilance, GMP+ and company requirements.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and in accordance with established company procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
