I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Working closely with your Regional Sales Manager and cross-functional colleagues, you'll develop and execute territory business plans, conduct regular business reviews and ensure actions are followed through effectively. You'll stay informed of market developments and competitor activity, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen Coloplast's position and support continued growth.
The role also requires strong organisation and attention to detail, with responsibility for maintaining accurate customer records and activity through Salesforce. As you establish yourself within the territory, you'll develop a robust understanding of local NHS priorities, patient pathways and healthcare provider objectives, enabling you to deliver meaningful and commercially effective partnerships.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing sales role who enjoys building long-term relationships and delivering results. Whilst experience within medical devices or healthcare would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. We are equally interested in hearing from ambitious sales professionals from outside the industry who can demonstrate strong commercial acumen, account management skills and a genuine desire to learn and succeed within healthcare.
The successful candidate will be resilient, self-motivated and driven to exceed targets, with excellent communication and influencing skills. You'll be someone who can analyse information, identify opportunities and translate insights into action. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset is key, as is the ability to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
