The Territory Manager will provide M.E.D. Surgical customers with support in the sale and distribution of Operating Room products such as Laparoscopic, Cardiac, Vascular and Uro/Gynae devices to Clinicians in the South West of England.

Ideally candidates will be based in South West region.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • This is a sales role and involves presenting, demonstrating and developing new business. Working on your own initiative to see opportunities and convert them to sales is essential.
  • Provide Clinical Support to Customers in the area of Laparoscopic/Cardiovascular/Thoracic & Uro/Gynae instrumentation and consumable products.
  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
  • Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquires.
  • Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
  • Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the market place
  • Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
  • Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
  • Employees are responsible for their continuous professional and personal self-development.

Role Requirements

  • Surgical Sales person with 3+ years’ Medical sales experience
  • Experience of selling into operating theatres with an advantage if you have existing relationships with Gynaecology and Urology Surgeons.
  • High reliance on drive and planning and excellent organizational and account management skills.
  • Willing to travel within the UK
  • Full training provided
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have full, clean driving license (company car provided)
  • Clinical or a Medical device sales background is essential
