Territory Manager – Urology

Location: UK (ideally in or around the surrounding areas of London. The candidate will need to be able to commute to central London)

Reports to: National Sales Manager – Gastroenterology & Urology

Territory: London/South East

About the Company:

Vital Healthcare Medical Devices: Our Medical Devices business is a market leader in England and Ireland, trading as Fannin, for medical device products in laparoscopic, theatre consumables, and anaesthesia therapy areas. The Medical Devices division also has a growing presence across international markets with these product portfolios.

In October 2022, we saw the acquisition of Medi-Globe, a leading global player in developing, manufacturing, and distributing single-use medical devices for endoscopy in gastroenterology and urology.

The Opportunity:

The Medi-Globe acquisition creates an exciting opportunity to invest in building and growing a direct sales platform for the Urotech branded Urology product range in the UK. Fannin is now seeking to hire a Territory Manager, Urology to work with us in establishing this exciting growth initiative.

Principal Responsibilities:

The role holder will have responsibility for sales performance and achievement of targets for the GI business within the Fannin Ireland Medical Devices organisation.

  • Initial responsibility will be to focus on supporting the set-up of the Urology business working in close collaboration with the National Sales Manager, Med Devices Business Director, and International Sales Director, Medi-Globe.
  • Take ownership and accountability for implementing actions and initiatives that will drive high performance and conversion of new customers and accounts to using the Urotech portfolio of products.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and targets as per national business plans.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with KOLs across the HSE, NHS, and private hospital groups.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans including but not limited to KOL education, product training, marketing, and digital marketing.
  • Attend national & international conferences/trade fairs, etc., as required.
  • Provide first-line local product support, trainings, and live cases in clinics.
  • Provision of accurate sales reporting and analysis.
  • Respond effectively to market information that may impact on business.
  • Support customers and our internal QM Team within complaint handling.

Experience & Profile:

  • 3 years + direct sales experience within Urology consumable product portfolios (we will consider applicants with less than 3 years’ experience but with a strong Urology background)
  • Proven experience in building and managing KOL relationships, training, and education.
  • Proven record of delivering consistent sales growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, open communication style.
  • An entrepreneurial flair to create win/win solutions for customers.
  • A good knowledge of the NHS landscape and success in dealing with procurement services and groups would be highly desirable.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Full clean driver license.

Other Information:

  • Availability to travel nationally and overseas as required.
  • Full-time permanent role.
  • Training will be provided to develop specific product knowledge.
