Territory Manager (Sales Representative)

About the Opportunity

We have the opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Respiratory and Acute Care Sales Representative (internal job title, Territory Manager) for a fixed-term maternity cover contract based within Somerset, Devon or Cornwall, requiring regular travel across this region.

This is a dynamic role that involves working in a complex clinical setting across adult and infant hospital departments, focusing on market development and education to drive adoption of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare therapies and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to hospitals and build relationships with existing and prospective customers to introduce and grow the use of current Fisher & Paykel Healthcare products and therapy approaches and their benefits.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to recognise and execute on opportunity, driving sales growth.
  • Provide education to clinical staff to improve care and outcomes for patients.
  • Liaise with hospital regulatory, compliance and technical departments, purchasing, clinicians and other key decision makers to ensure all compliance and purchasing requirements are met.
  • Provide installation support, training, post sales education, trouble shooting and complaint resolution to promote early identification of customer issues, ensure correct use of equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.

About You

In order to succeed you will need to be a curious, persistent and collaborative person and have a positive outlook. Other key skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • An understanding or experience working in a clinical setting would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Articulate and engaging presentation skills with a proven ability to learn and apply complex concepts and communicate these to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment, comfortable seeking guidance or assistance when faced with challenges.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and proactive with a drive to succeed and make a difference.
