Territory Sales Manager - Home-Based | Midlands - Birmingham, Nottingham or Derby
Territory £35,000 Basic | £50,000 OTE (Uncapped) | £500 Monthly Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits.
Looking for a field sales role with real autonomy, a strong brand behind you and a proposition that genuinely helps small businesses? We're recruiting for an experienced field sales professional to take ownership of a local territory across the Midlands. We're flexible on location and can consider candidates based around Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Nottingham, or the surrounding areas.
Our client is one of the UK's most respected organisations supporting small businesses. They have an outstanding reputation, a genuinely supportive culture, and a long history of helping UK SMEs thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced field sales professional who enjoys developing their own territory, meeting customers face-to-face, and winning new business.
You don't need experience selling memberships - and we're genuinely open-minded about the sector you've worked in.
What matters is your ability to manage a territory, generate opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and confidently take a sale from first conversation through to close. You could currently be working in business services, professional services, insurance, telecoms, utilities, financial services, media, payments, or another B2B or field sales environment. Equally, if you've built a successful field sales career in another sector, we'd still like to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Builds rapport and credibility quickly with business owners and decision-makers
