Company Overview
Our client is a leader in innovative medical therapies for cardiac surgery and critical care.
They are currently experiencing a period of significant growth and are expanding their commercial team in the UK. They are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive adoption and growth across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and grow the market.
- Managing existing key accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, intensivists, and hospital procurement teams.
- Providing clinical and technical support during the use of advanced therapies in cardiac surgery and critical care settings.
- Delivering compelling product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and customer training sessions.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using the company's CRM system.

Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
We are seeking candidates with:
- A minimum of 5 years' sales experience within the medical device, life sciences, or healthcare sectors.
- A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a territory management role.
- Strong commercial acumen with a thorough understanding of NHS procurement processes and decision-making pathways.
- A 'hunter' mentality with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to winning new business.
- The ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex clinical and scientific data to diverse audiences.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (70%) across the territory.
Desirable Experience
- An existing network of contacts within cardiac surgery or critical care departments.
- An academic degree in a scientific, clinical, or business-related field.
- Experience working in compliance with the ABHI Code of Practice.

Package
- Base salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
- Bonus: Competitive bonus scheme
- Benefits: Company car/allowance, pension, private healthcare, and other corporate benefits.
- Location: Field-based covering Northern England & Ireland.
- Travel requirements: Approximately 70% travel within the territory.
