The business offers a dedicated delivery service to catering establishments across Wales, the North West, and the West Midlands, supplying over 3,000 wholesale product lines straight to kitchens and workplaces. Its range covers frozen and chilled foods, grocery, ice cream, cleaning and disposable items, and a strong selection of local Welsh produce, providing a total foodservice solution.

Role Description
The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and growing sales within an assigned geographic area. The role involves managing and expanding a portfolio of catering and foodservice customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Harlech’s full product range and service offering.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Conducting virtual and on-site customer meetings
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Negotiating pricing and terms
- Ensuring timely follow-up to secure orders
The Territory Sales Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams such as customer service, logistics, and product specialists to support smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction. The role also includes:
- Monitoring performance against targets
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM tools
- Providing regular reports and market feedback to inform sales strategies
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, present solutions, and negotiate effectively.
- Proven Sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding territory or account targets.
- Experience in Customer Service, with a focus on relationship management and issue resolution.
- Background in Training or coaching, especially in supporting customers or colleagues with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Sales Management capabilities, such as planning territories, forecasting, and reporting on performance.
- Knowledge of the foodservice, hospitality, or wholesale sector is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working remotely, with strong self-organization, time management, and CRM proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory when required.
- Relevant education or professional certifications in sales, business, or a related field are an advantage.
