Are you a self-motivated B2B sales professional with 1-3 years of capital equipment experience seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our exciting veterinary medical device start-up company in the North Region, UK.

The Role

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will:

  • Introduce revolutionary veterinary medical technologies to veterinary clinics
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Execute the full life cycle of consultative selling
  • On-board new customers
  • Lead commercial events

The Ideal Candidate

  • Drive: A self-starter with a hunter mentality, excellent relationship-building skills through customer-centricity, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
  • Resourceful: An adaptable creative problem solver able to leverage existing tools, create new ones, or leverage cross-functional relationships to unblock projects to keep the momentum going to deliver goals
  • Owner mindset: Takes full responsibility for outcomes, treating company challenges as their own and finding a way to win despite limitations
  • Resilient: Pushes forward and treats every challenge every day as a new learning opportunity for continued self-improvement
  • Animal Environment Tolerant: Must be able to tolerate animal fur, dander, blood, fluids, tissues, feces, and possibly unpleasant smells at times

Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven B2B sales experience, specifically with capital equipment (i.e., commercial printers, services, etc.) or complex technical products (i.e., medical devices, software, etc.); veterinary industry experience is an asset
  • Pipeline Management: Proficiency in CRM software(s), sales automation tools, and accurate sales forecasting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and post-sale customer satisfaction
  • Veterinary Acumen: Must be an animal enthusiast, have owned a pet, have experience working with or handling of animals, or experience within the veterinary clinic environment as a pet owner, supplier, staff, or volunteer
  • Location: Must live in the territory, from Yorkshire and Lancashire to Sutherland and Caithness
  • Mobility: Full UK driver's license and willingness to travel for client site visits, trade shows, and meetings across the Northern UK
