Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Sell Animalcare’s products to achieve the revenue and growth targets set periodically for your sales territory
  • Maintain profitability at territory and practice level by ensuring practices have the best product mix to achieve improved margins
  • Maintain accurate records, via the CRM system provided, of all activities carried out by you in your sales territory and in support of the Animalcare business
  • Provide as required CPD and other product training and support activities for the Animalcare business with customers in your sales territory
  • Attend exhibitions and meetings as required within and outside your territory to support Animalcare’s business goals
  • Actively report competitor activity and data and work cross-functionally to support the marketing team
  • Represent Animalcare in a professional manner, building the reputation and working to the standards set by the company
  • Manage your designated territory to achieve the required coverage and frequency of face-to-face contacts within veterinary practices in your territory by networking and following the practice
  • Segmentation and grading systems in place
  • Work within all regulated timescales for reporting of Complaints and adverse reactions on territory to Technical Services Department, Product Manager, and UK Sales Manager
  • Carry out market research, market monitoring, and competitor monitoring on both an ad hoc and structured basis, reporting back to Sales Management or other colleagues as required
  • Produce reports as required to members of the Management Team
  • Deliver accurate and on-time admin tasks, e.g., end of month documents including expenses
  • Full responsibility (including maintenance) of all Animalcare property, i.e., laptop/tablet, mobile phone, car, etc.
  • Undertake additional tasks as defined by the Line Manager and/or the Management team

  • Ideal location of the candidate should be East Midlands and East of England
