Territory Sales Manager (UK & IR)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Territory Sales Manager (UK & IR) based in United Kingdom.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving retail sales growth across the UK and Ireland by building strong partnerships with key customers and expanding commercial opportunities. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on field engagement, allowing you to influence sales performance, strengthen retail relationships, and support business expansion. Working in a dynamic, international, and remote environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing your territory with a high degree of autonomy. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing long-term partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and making a direct impact on business success.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with retail and wholesale partners across the UK and Ireland, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Drive sales performance by expanding product portfolios, implementing effective pricing strategies, and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating with internal teams to deliver seamless customer support.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, prepare customer proposals and contracts, and support successful business development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute tailored promotional plans for retail partners while monitoring campaign performance and recommending improvements.
  • Conduct regular visits to retail locations to strengthen relationships, evaluate product presentation, and identify opportunities to improve sales execution.
  • Deliver engaging product training sessions that enable retail sales teams to confidently promote and sell products.
  • Monitor sales performance, forecast business results, assess risks, and identify opportunities for continued account growth.
  • Collect market insights and customer feedback to support commercial strategy and business development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory management within a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trusted, long-term partnerships with customers.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities independently in a remote working environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland to support retail partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
  • Experience in the bedding, furniture, home, lifestyle, or consumer goods sectors is beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license.
