Our Tesco Colleague Rate of Pay
- Starts from £13.28 an hour
- Increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25
- Additional payments may apply depending on location
Working Hours
- Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week
- Opportunities for fewer hours (minimum of 12) are available
Availability Windows
- The table shows the periods of time in the week you should be available to work
- Shifts will be scheduled within these times
- You’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be
- Flexibility is supported, even if your availability matches closely but not exactly

Requirements
- Must be over 18 to apply for this role
Responsibilities
- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within your store
- Working across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas where required
- Putting into practice the training you have received for safe, effective work and excellent customer service
- Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines in store that meet their needs
- Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere
- Being knowledgeable about your store's performance and understanding your role in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition
- Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and always following our policies
- At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store
