Our Tesco Colleague Rate of Pay

  • Starting from £13.28 an hour
  • Increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25
  • Additional night premium of £2.35 per hour for all hours worked between midnight and 6am
  • Additional payments may apply depending on location

Work Hours

  • Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week
  • Opportunities for fewer hours (minimum of 12) are available

Availability Windows

  • You will be scheduled within the specified availability windows
  • 3 weeks' notice will be provided for your shifts
  • Flexibility is supported, even if your availability does not match exactly with the advertised times

  • Must be over 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services
  • Working across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas
  • Putting into practice the received training for safety and effective service
  • Making decisions that are right for customers
  • Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events
  • Being knowledgeable about store performance and understanding your role
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality
  • Living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and following policies
  • Accepting deliveries into the store at times
