Tesco National Account Executive

  • Location: Frimley
  • Function: Sales
  • Contract: Permanent

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you will provide day-to-day commercial and administrative support to the team managing Tesco, our largest UK customer.

This is an ideal first step into FMCG sales for someone who is commercially curious, numerically confident, and keen to learn how a major grocery account is managed. You will work closely with the Senior National Account Manager, receiving regular coaching, feedback, and exposure to customer planning and commercial decision-making. The role offers a strong foundation for future progression into broader account management positions.

This role is ideal for someone at an early stage of their FMCG career who has already gained some exposure to the industry, whether through a placement or some post-graduate experience. We would also welcome candidates with transferable commercial experience gained within FMCG who are looking to move into Sales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
