Test Agent

Bristol, Avon (Hybrid-Working)
Up to £35,000 per year
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension, Private Medical Insurance, etc.

Skills and Experience:

  • Comfortable navigating different software packages for the purposes of testing or using it to test (CRM, Issue Management, Postman (API), etc.)
  • Willing to learn different software and context specific information for different clients
  • Experience of software development lifecycle
  • Experience of software testing in an Agile environment, working closely with developers and product owners
  • Experience of writing testing strategies, test planning, acceptance criteria definition writing, logging faults, features and bugs, documentation of test cases for repeatability
  • ISTQB certification in Software Testing or equivalent this is desirable but not essential
  • Writing SQL experience
  • Automated testing experience

The Opportunity:

Our client, a successful software house, are currently on the lookout for a Test Agent on a permanent basis. Ideally, they are looking for someone that will provide ongoing product testing in collaboration with their software developers and product experts. The successful candidate will need to have technical aptitude and enjoy working in and around IT systems. You will also work closely with the support Team and will be managing the testing required to support fortnightly patch releases and this will also incorporate you working with the product team during development sprints to write and plan testing criteria for the major product releases.
