Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Test Analyst to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing activities. The successful candidate will design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software quality and identify potential issues before product release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business and technical requirements
  • Developing test strategies
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Documenting defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessments
  • Collaborating with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to investigate issues, verify fixes, and continuously improve testing processes

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify risks and quality gaps throughout the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to improving product stability by applying structured testing methodologies, monitoring test results, and supporting the implementation of quality assurance best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create effective test scenarios.
  • Experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and acceptance testing processes.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within iterative development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar solutions.
  • Experience with test automation concepts and tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear and structured test reports.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple testing activities, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of software quality and continuous improvement.
