Experience 5 to 7 years
Responsibilities
- Assess application testing practices across Cyber applications against an established testing framework
- Review and evaluate testing maturity across application portfolios
- Conduct assessments covering functional testing, regression testing, and quality assurance practices
- Partner with application teams to identify testing strengths, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Perform maturity assessments and provide objective scoring and recommendations
- Review test strategies, test plans, test coverage, and testing governance processes
- Assess manual and automated testing capabilities within application teams
- Provide consultancy and guidance on testing best practices and process improvements
- Produce assessment reports, findings, recommendations, and maturity scorecards
- Collaborate with Cyber application teams, engineering teams, and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing practices and quality engineering
- Potentially support future test automation initiatives following the assessment phase

To be successful in this role you should have
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies
- Experience with Functional Testing and Regression Testing
- Experience in both Manual Testing and Automated Testing
- Experience assessing testing processes, frameworks, and maturity models
- Strong Quality Assurance and Testing Governance knowledge
- Ability to review and evaluate testing strategies and practices
- Strong analytical and assessment skills
- Experience working closely with application development teams
- Ability to act as an internal consultant and advisor
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience producing assessment reports and recommendations
- Ability to objectively evaluate testing maturity and identify improvement opportunities
- Experience with Test Automation frameworks is desirable
- Cybersecurity application testing experience is advantageous
