Job title: Test Analyst

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Manchester

Salary: £39,900 to £44,500

Working arrangements: Hybrid working, 2 days a week in office

Do you enjoy uncovering issues within complex integrations and ensuring systems communicate reliably and securely? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality technology that supports learners across the UK.

As a Test Analyst, you'll work closely with developers, business analysts and product teams to ensure integrations, APIs and backend services are reliable, resilient and fit for purpose.

You'll help design, plan and execute testing activities that validate how systems interact across a complex technology landscape. Using tools such as Postman and other testing solutions, you'll verify data flows, identify defects early and provide clear insights into quality and readiness. You'll also play an important role in AQA's transition to modern cloud-based technologies and agile ways of working, helping to ensure seamless integration between new and existing platforms.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing integration, API and end-to-end testing activities to validate system interactions and data flow across multiple platforms
  • Working closely with agile development teams to understand technical solutions, identify risks and ensure quality is built into the delivery process
  • Using tools such as Postman to test APIs, investigate issues and provide clear reporting on testing outcomes, defects and quality risks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
