A look into the role

As a Test Analyst within our Digital Audit practice, you will:

  • Design, write and run test cases based on business requirements and user stories, covering functional, regression, integration and system testing.
  • Validate data integrity and system outputs against expected results.
  • Log defects, record test results and track issues through to resolution in our test management system.
  • Work with developers, auditors and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues, and support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Help improve our testing processes, tools and methods, including supporting the introduction of test automation tools.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Test Analyst, the minimum criteria you’ll need is proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing, and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the QA role within an Agile environment. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and QA best practices, and experience of web application testing, including cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience in financial services, audit or consulting environments, and an understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms or audit processes.
  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks (for example Selenium, Postman or Playwright) and to data validation.
  • ISTQB certification (preferred but not essential).
  • Well-organised and analytical, with clear written and verbal communication, and able to prioritise several projects at once and work independently or within cross-functional teams.
