Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design effective test strategies, execute manual and automated test cases, and identify defects throughout the software development lifecycle. This role involves validating system functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance while ensuring that products meet business and technical requirements before release.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
- Performing functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance support testing.
- Accurately documenting test results and reporting defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Working closely with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and improve overall software quality.
- Continuous process improvement, participation in Agile ceremonies, and contribution to testing best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
- Familiarity with test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts and frameworks is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level) are considered a plus.
