Job Title: Test Analyst - Senior
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Test Analyst - Senior based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to lead comprehensive testing and business readiness activities for a consumer-facing digital solution.
You will ensure applications meet business requirements, acceptance criteria, quality standards, and end-user expectations.
The position combines hands-on software testing with defect management, data validation, training, documentation, and deployment support.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, subject matter experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Your expertise will help ensure smooth releases, effective user adoption, and stable post-implementation operations.
You will also explore responsible uses of AI and Generative AI to improve testing, documentation, training, and knowledge-transfer processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior testing professional who enjoys combining technical quality assurance with business-facing delivery and change readiness.
Accountabilities
- Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios, scripts, and test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform UAT, functional, regression, enhancement, integration, data validation, and end-to-end testing.
- Coordinate testing activities with business users, Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, document, track, prioritize, and manage defects, including severity assessment and validation of fixes.
- Validate data and integrations to ensure system functionality and information flows meet expected outcomes.
- Support testing and delivery activities within Agile and iterative development environments.
- Work with ServiceNow applications, workflows, stories, and acceptance criteria to support effective testing and delivery.
- Develop and maintain end-user training materials, user guides, job aids, FAQs, training scenarios, presentations, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
- Facilitate user walkthroughs, demonstrations, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Support business readiness, deployment readiness, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Contribute to solutions involving licensing, regulatory, permitting, or citizen-facing applications and processes.
- Identify opportunities to use approved AI and Generative AI tools to improve test case creation, coverage, defect analysis, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, accessibility, security, privacy, and compliance.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience coordinating software testing activities with business users, Business Analysts, SMEs, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with UAT, functional, regression, enhancement, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- 5+ years of experience identifying, documenting, tracking, assessing, and resolving software defects and validating corrective fixes.
- 5+ years of experience performing data validation and integration testing.
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile or iterative software delivery environments.
- 5+ years of experience developing end-user training materials, user guides, job aids, FAQs, training presentations, and related business readiness content.
- 5+ years of experience facilitating end-user training, walkthroughs, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- 5+ years of experience supporting business readiness, deployment readiness, go-live, and post-implementation activities.
- At least 2 years of experience working with ServiceNow applications, workflows, stories, and acceptance criteria.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting licensing, regulatory, permitting, or citizen-facing applications or business processes.
- Experience using AI and Generative AI tools to support testing, test case development, defect analysis, documentation, training, or knowledge transfer.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content and validate it for accuracy, completeness, accessibility, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams while managing multiple testing and business readiness priorities.
