It's more than a job
As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. From everyday essentials to seasonal items, what we do in Contract Logistics impacts businesses and communities around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality testing across a diverse range of technology solutions for both Kuehne + Nagel and our external customers. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and executing testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that business and technical requirements are fully validated before release.
As a subject matter expert, you will create detailed test scenarios and test cases, execute component, integration, UAT and operational testing, and provide accurate effort estimates to support project delivery. You will monitor progress against agreed schedules, manage defects through to resolution, maintain robust testing documentation, and contribute to the development of regression test packs. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and supporting successful project outcomes. If you are passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and delivering reliable solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a global logistics leader.
How you create impact
- Support the estimation and planning of testing activities for new projects and change requests.
- Create, review and execute comprehensive test scenarios and scripts across multiple testing phases.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external clients and stakeholders to develop effective test plans and ensure full requirements coverage.
- Manage the creation, maintenance and storage of test scripts within JIRA.
- Define and coordinate test data requirements to support successful test execution.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
- Monitor testing progress, providing timely updates, status reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Accurately record test results, defects and evidence within agreed testing tools and workflows.
- Facilitate defect triage activities, working with SMEs to assess impact, prioritise issues and drive resolution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
