Test Technician – Silverstone Facility

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Test Technician to join our advanced engineering team at our Silverstone facility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed testing and validation of vehicle systems, components, and assemblies, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Accurately record and report test results, maintaining full adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and engineering procedures
  • Support preparation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment and data acquisition tools to ensure accurate and repeatable data collection
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during validation programmes
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of testing methods, validation processes, and operational practices to enhance efficiency and reliability

personSpec Requirements

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., engineering, automotive, mechatronics)
  • Demonstrated experience in testing, validation, or technical support, preferably in motorsport or automotive environments
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and vehicle technologies
  • Familiarity with test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a fast-paced team
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desirable

  • Experience in Formula 1® or high-performance motorsport settings
  • Technical derivative knowledge of F1 technical regulations
