Are you a Test Applications Engineer?

As a Test Applications Developer at A-Safe you will design, develop, and maintain software for controlling production test equipment of A-Safe’s Electronic Products.

A-Safe is a global leader in polymer safety barriers with an ambitious roadmap to expand its technology offering. As part of the embedded systems team you will be integral in delivering this roadmap.

How you will make an impact:

  • Maintain existing production applications for Automated PCB testing, End of Line Testing.
  • Design and develop applications for testing new products as they come to fruition.
  • Analyse Test data to ensure test procedures are optimized and efficient. Leading production reviews to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Collaborate with Electronic and Mechanical teams to ensure suitability of test apparatus.
  • Perform and review testing, validation, and debugging of new product developments.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and test reports to a professional standard.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills with an enthusiasm for collaboration.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Degree in Software Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong experience of test Applications, preferably C# language.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment control e.g. Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meter, Spectrum Analyser, NI-DAQ etc.
  • Understanding of Test methodologies, scientific approach, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Experience with Jira task management, and Github release management.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW would be a bonus.
