Your role
As our Test Automation Engineer, you will lead the development of a robust automated testing capability across Dynamics 365, Business Central, NAV, and a wide range of third-party integrations. Your work will ensure the Institute’s core platforms are supported by reliable, repeatable, and scalable automated test frameworks that strengthen quality assurance across digital transformation programmes.
You will design and deliver automation frameworks, build Azure DevOps test pipelines, and create automated tests that accurately validate business rules, data flows, integrations, and end-to-end processes. The role spans API and integration testing, cloud-based test execution, and managing test data and environments to ensure consistency and compliance.
You will promote high engineering standards and shift-left testing practices, embedding automated checks early within development workflows. Alongside this, you will maintain clear documentation, contribute to shared testing assets, and support continuous improvement through modern automation approaches and emerging QA technologies.

- Comfortable working with SQL to verify data quality, transformations, and reconciliation across CRM and ERP systems
- Thrives in Agile environments and collaborates effectively with developers, architects, and product owners to refine requirements, improve quality, and support early-stage testing
- Takes a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, communicates clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, and maintains a high level of attention to detail
- Stays adaptable and curious, keeping pace with evolving technologies, cloud capabilities, and modern automation approaches
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
