Job Details: Test Automation Lead / Senior QA Automation Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead to drive and scale our quality engineering practices. This role is responsible for defining and executing the test automation strategy, building robust frameworks, and ensuring high-quality releases through effective CI/CD quality gates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and define the overall test automation strategy across projects
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive regression test suites
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards
- Oversee defect management lifecycle, including tracking, reporting, and resolution
- Promote best practices in QA, automation, and continuous testing

Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress/Playwright
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java and/or Python
- Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
- Solid understanding of API testing (REST, SOAP) using relevant tools
- Expertise in test framework design and architecture
- Experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Qualifications & Certifications:
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or Test Manager certification
- ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification preferred
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and drive team performance
Experience Level:
Typically 5+ years in QA automation with leadership or senior-level responsibilities
