About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality software through robust automated testing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative agile team and play a key role in driving test automation across both UI and API layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
- Create and execute automated tests for web applications and APIs.
- Drive quality engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to shift-left testing approaches.
- Analyse defects, identify root causes, and ensure rapid resolution.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in API Test Automation.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright for modern UI test automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST API testing, validation, and automation.
- Proven experience in UI Automation Testing.
- Experience creating automated test suites from functional and non-functional requirements.
- Knowledge of test design techniques and quality engineering principles.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Skills
- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Performance and non-functional testing exposure.
- Experience with cloud-based environments.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks and automation best practices.
